Tai Chi Certification

The mission of Clear’s Tai Chi is to fuel a revolution in Tai Chi Instruction based on the pursuit of function, not choreography, not philosophy. We want principles and methods that produce results not just more techniques and sets.

We believe that Tai Chi should not take a lifetime to master and that with hard work and quality instruction anyone can develop skill quickly.

From the beginning, the Clears Tai Chi movement has provided an alternative to the prevailing Tai Chi establishment and its signature “follow the leader,” forms based, cookie cutter approach to Tai Chi Training.

We promote a 1 on 1 “hands on” method of instruction in large part because the only way to continue to advance as an instructor is to continually work with your students. Hands on. 1 on 1.

Our instructors constitute a confederation of legitimate Tai Chi practitioners united around a pursuit of the highest levels of internal skill and dedicated to sharing their knowledge and training the Tai Chi masters of tomorrow.
